Do I need an account to take the diagnostic?
No. You can take any diagnostic without signing up — answers and your topic gap analysis are saved to a guest cookie. Sign in afterward to keep your attempt history forever.
Which exams does Lumen cover?
AFK (NDEB), ADAT (ADA), NBDHE (ADA JCNDE), NDHCE (FDHRC), NDAEB, and the DANB component exams (RHS, ICE, GC, NELDA). ACJ (NDEB) and INBDE (JCNDE) are launching soon. Coverage and item counts vary — see each exam's page for what's live today.
How are rationales written?
Every item is reviewed by a licensed clinician and cross-checked against the published competency guidelines for that exam. We cite the source on every rationale.
Can I get a refund?
For accidental purchases or technical failures, yes — email support within 7 days of purchase and we'll review it case-by-case. Credits you've already spent on a started mock aren't refundable.
How do I report a bad item?
Press R while on any question, or use the feedback button in the bottom-right corner. Reports go to a queue our clinical reviewers work daily.
Is my study data ever sold or shared?
No. Your attempts, answers, and email are never sold, never shared with brokers, and never fed into third-party training datasets. The only software that touches your data is the engine that ranks your weakest topics for your next mock — and that runs in our infrastructure, against your account only.
